DNS Inspector: Overview
The DNS Inspector queries public DNS and reports the records that most often matter for technical due diligence and email-deliverability reviews.
What it queries
- A / AAAA — the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses the domain resolves to.
- MX — the mail servers that accept email for the domain.
- TXT / SPF — which hosts are authorized to send email as the domain.
- DKIM — cryptographic signing keys (when a common selector is known).
- DMARC — the policy that receivers should apply to unaligned mail.
- CAA — which certificate authorities may issue for the domain.
All queries are read-only, use public resolvers, and do not contact the target's infrastructure beyond standard DNS.
